2017-2018 Officer Team
Neve Blanz, PresidentNeve joined FCCLA her sophomore year and has been in the club ever since. She has competed in multiple events over the years, going to both state and nationals. Neve joined FCCLA because the club incorporated all of her interests into one club, which include baking and cooking. Throughout high school she has been involved in NHS, Youth Apprenticeship, and 4-H. Neve is unsure where she will attend college, but is leaning toward the Culinary Institute of America or Johnson and Wales for a degree in baking and pastry arts.
Neve's duties as President are to be responsible for and supervise the function of FCCLA, preside over meetings, appoint committee chairpersons, enforce all decisions within the limits of school policies and the FCCLA Constitution, prepare an agenda for each meeting, authorize all monetary transactions by co-signing all requisition forms with the Adviser in absence of the treasurer, act as an ex-office member to all committees of FCCLA, represent FCCLA in meetings with the school board, and to represent the designated representatives of FCCLA on all public occasions and during community out reach work. |
Christina Wenman, Vice PresidentChristina Wenman joined FCCLA her Freshman year because the 2014 FCCLA chapter President asked if she wanted to help out with the Day With The Easter Bunny event by dressing up as the Easter Bunny. After that event, she decided to join and has loved the club ever since. Christina has competed her sophomore, junior, and senior year.Throughout high school, she has been involved in FCCLA, DECA, Student Senate, Volleyball, Softball, Junior Achievement, and NHS. Next year, Christina plans on attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to major in Human Resources Management with a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
Christina's duties as Vice President are to preside over meetings in the absence of the President, act as an ex-office member to all committees of FCCLA, assume presidential powers in the absence of the President, coordinate social media, and act as the administrator of the FCCLA Facebook page. |
Alli Swid, TreasurerAlli joined FCCLA the beginning of her sophomore year. She thought it would be fun and wanted to be involved in a club. Alli has competed every year she has been a part of the club. Throughout high school, Alli has been involved in cross country, basketball, track and field, FCCLA, Student Senate, NHS, and choir. Next year she plans on attending either the University of Wisconsin-Madison or the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for pre-med.
Alli's duties as Treasurer are to keep an accurate account of FCCLA financial matters and transactions, present a Treasurer's Report at every meeting, authorize all monetary transactions by co-signing all requisition forms with the advisor, and meet with the adviser on the 1st Monday of every month to discuss and balance books, complete requisitions, make deposits, and submit receipts. |
Courtney Claeys, SecretaryCourtney joined FCCLA when she was a sophomore. She wanted to meet new people as she had just moved to Mosinee. She has competed at state and regionals. During high school, she has also been involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, choir, and FCCLA. Next year she plans on attending either University of Minnesota-Twin Cities or University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is still undecided about her major.
Courtney's duties as Secretary are to maintain and file all official FCCLA minutes, resolutions, petitions, reports, recommendations. constitutional amendments, and all other records for FCCLA, record and maintain an attendance of all members, send FCCLA correspondence when needed, appoint an assistant to the secretary with approval of other officers, provide and read minutes of preceding meeting. |
Ava Rindfleisch, Regional RepresentativeAva joined FCCLA her sophomore year when Christina grabbed her in the hallway to come to the first meeting. She has loved being part of the club ever since! This year is her first time competing. During high school, she has been involved in basketball, softball, forensics, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Next year, she is applying to be the chapter president.
Ava's duties as a Regional Representative are to attend all regional representative meetings, report to the officers all pertinent information from the representative meeting, present the officers and agenda of the representative meeting, and must attend the state conference. |
Camille Gorman, Student Senate RepresenativeCamille Gorman joined FCCLA her freshman year because she was recruited with Christina to help with the Day with the Easter Bunny event. She loved her experience and decided to join the club! Camille has competed and attended nationals as well as chaired many FCCLA events. In addition to FCCLA, Camille is involved in Student Senate, NHS, Dance Team, Yoga Club, and Studio Dance. Next year, she is planning on attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undecided major.
Camille's duties as Student Senate Rep are to attend all regular school board meetings, to report to the offciers all pertinent information from the Senate meeting, and to present the officers the agenda of the Senate meeting. |
